This is one of my favorite pieces even though it's very simplistic. The drawing of the girl was done by a friend (collab). I did the rest. It is how we sometimes feel trapped by our emotions and fell that we can't tell others how we really feel before we get swept away by what society says is "right" to do think and do. There are many people I know who could benefit from this I think. I try to keep it in mind when deciding things. I try to say, "ok, I don't care what others or my parents think about this. What would make me the happiest? What would be the best decision?" and so-on... comment if you care to

Its a very intriguing image. Lots of things going on. I like the drawing of the girl too. But what I really like is the lighting effects. How on earth did you do them. I know you must have used a low shutter speed, but what did you use to make them?

Lighting effects on which part? The backdrop lighting was done using an HDR Image of the forrests around my home. The glowing wire-things on the robot were made using a glowing, translucent, transparent, fresnel texture and shader. The highlights on the girl were added using a semitransparent plane layered on top of her. Did I miss anything of interest?
